WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER

THE POSITION:

We are looking for a full time Web Application Developer who has experience with ASP.NET (both Core and .NET

Framework) . The position has a large focus on creating and maintaining Web applications using ASP.NET, C#, MVC,

Bootstrap and the Umbraco CMS. Working with a small and highly integrated team you will focus on web site development and software application integration.

The position includes training opportunities to learn and grow your skills. We ensure that our developers have current hardware and access to the tools they need in order to do their jobs effectively. We are looking for someone who has the creativity and breadth of experience to see the potential when it comes to creating web applications.

Location: The position is fully remote.

Work Schedule: You will part of our team working on projects for our North American clients. Our core work hours are

Monday to Friday, between 7am and 6pm Pacific Time

WHAT YOU NEED:

-Full Stack Developer

- Web Server, SQL Database, Application, Third Party API integration

-In-depth understanding of Microsoft .Net framework (asp.net MVC)

-Strong knowledge of javascript (jQuery/Vue/React)

-Tenacious at finding solutions

-Team player

-Good written and oral skills

-Strong command of both written and spoken English a necessity

-Empathetic to client concerns

The ideal candidate will have, at least, 4 – 5 years experience designing components for web applications.

TOP LEVEL SKILL SET

-Essential Languages: C#, Razor, jQuery, Javascript, CSS3, HTML, Vue Js, T-SQL

-Other Skills: Microsoft asp.net MVC

-Consuming REST API’s

-Knowledge of Umbraco V7+ particularly important – Knowledge of WordPress/Drupal will not be useful.

-Familiarity and recent experience of responsive website design using Bootstrap (3, 4 and 5)

-CSS modification with emphasis on understanding the client's requirements for breakpoints and stacking strategies with a mobile-first awareness.

-SQL - Backup and Restore, Porting from old SQL Database, Table creation, sProc creation.

-AWS - IIS Server setup, code maintenance, redundant server configuration, SQL maintenance, backup, restore planning.

-IIS - Basic ability to configure websites, install SSL Certificates, good knowledge of web.config and apppool.config setup plus familiarity with IIS Event Log and debugging techniques.

-Experience with Tessitura, the Tessitura API and/or ticketing/event reservation systems is an asset.

Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
